What is Apple Silicon?
Apple has already announced that it is moving away from Intel processors which are running since 2006 on their Macs Now they are going to have its own home-made processors - called Apple Silicon. You may have already heard about ARM processors, that's because the architecture that underlies them is known as ARM. Apple's been making its own processors for a while now - every iPhone, iPad, and many other Apple products have Apple processors inside. Recently announced Macs already have an Apple processor inside which is T1 and T2 are ARM-based security-related chips that appear in various Macs.
Apple has already made such a transition, in 2006 it moved from PowerPC chips to Intel. Just like the last transition, this latest move won't happen overnight and there will be a lot of work going around since the beginning, not just for Apple but also for developers who will need to translate their apps to run on the new architecture and the good news is their apps will be automatically translated using Apple's Rosetta system.

They announced that it is having a "One more thing"
event on November 10, at 1:00 PM Eastern Time.
Apple Silicon event, given that Apple CEO Tim Cook did say that Macs with Apple's new processor is going to ship before the end of 2020. The event will be held virtually as we already saw apple last events, and will likely be prerecorded at various locations inside Apple Park.
What to expect at the event on November 10
They are going to have three events and two of the special events is going to handle the vast majority of Apple's main product lines. The first "Time Flies" event handled the iPad Air 4, the 10.2-inch iPad, the Apple Watch Series 6, and the Apple Watch SE, while the second "Hi, Speed" centered on the iPhone 12 range and the HomePod mini. It is likely the third installment will focus on an area not touched by the others, but we know is on the way.
Apple has announced that it would be bringing out its first Apple Silicon-based Macs before the end of 2020 and a special event in November seems like the last real opportunity Apple has to do so before the lucrative holiday shopping period which is going to be big for their product selling point of view.
What we can expect from the upcoming MacBook Pro, possibly a refined version of the 13-inch MacBook Pro. There has been some suggestion of multiple MacBook models, as well as a MacBook Air, while a 14-inch MacBook Pro and 16-inch MacBook Pro using the new technology may wait until 2021.
The next major release of macOS that will work on both Intel-based and Apple Silicon-based Macs and MacBooks which is good for those who are still using intel base MacBooks and they are going to have the latest updates even after the apple silicon transition. Apple has released the milestone versions of its other operating systems, it has considerably delayed the release of macOS Big Sur, and there's a chance it may be released alongside the Apple Silicon devices.
Not only the MacBooks, but the "AirTags" are also another product that could make an appearance at that event. The Ultra Wideband-based trackers were tipped for launch in late 2020, but reports have proposed Apple may be holding back the devices to early 2021, though a November event launch is always a possibility.
Another product apple might show at that event "AirPods Studio," more personal audio accessories in the AirPods product line. This product is going to be premium over-ear headphones with Active Noise Cancellation and Transparency Mode features added from the AirPods Pro, as well as a level of modularity and customization.
The First Arm-Based Mac?
Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo believes the 13-inch MacBook Pro and MacBook Air will be updated with Apple Silicon chips before the end of 2020, with Apple to release 14.1 and 16-inch MacBook Pro models with Apple Silicon chips in the third quarter of 2021.
At the upcoming Apple's event, the first three Macs that will have Apple Silicon chips will be the 13-inch MacBook Air, the 13-inch MacBook Pro, and the 16-inch MacBook Pro. At least two of the new Macs which is the 13-inch models will be announced at the event because they're further along in production, and there's a possibility we'll see all three. None of the new Macs will include a redesign and all will use the same form factor as the current models which are not exciting but their design was already good I don't think we need to worry about on the design side.
While there have been rumors that the first Arm-based Mac with an Apple Silicon chip will be a MacBook Pro, Chinese language newspaper The China Times believes Apple is working on a new variant of the 12-inch Retina MacBook that weighs less than one kilogram (2.2lbs)
The MacBook is said to feature an A14X processor codenamed "Tonga," which will have a battery life between 15 and 20 hours. Rumors suggest mass production on the A14X chip that will be used in the first Apple Silicon Mac is set to begin in the fourth quarter of 2020. There's also a new Mac Pro in development and Apple is working on a much-awaited redesigned 24-inch and 27-inch iMac with an Apple Silicon chip, which is set to be released sometime in 2021.
When Will Apple Release an Arm-Based Mac?
Apple at WWDC said that the first Mac that uses Apple Silicon will be introduced before the end of 2020. Apple plans to transition all of its Macs to Apple Silicon, a process that will take two years.
Apple is holding an event on Tuesday, November 10, which is expected to focus on the Apple Silicon Macs and will see Apple unveil the first Macs with Apple Silicon chips.
