WhatsApp New Status Updates For 2020

Recently the news came out from the twitter that WhatsApp is going to have an updated Status feature which is rolling out in 2020. Facebook, the parent company of WhatsApp, has officially started to work on the new WhatsApp Status updates will begin revealing ads in 2020. At an annual Facebook Marketing Summit in Rotterdam, Netherlands, Facebook revealed a first look at how its ads would look once implemented.

That news was confirmed on Twitter by Olivier Ponteville, the media head at a digital marketing agency based out of Brussels. According to his tweet, the advertisements will be shown between WhatsApp stories, just like Instagram stories if you use that platform you might have already seen that. You can see in the picture on the tweet he explained that stories would be displayed entirely on the screen like on the Instagram and a link will redirect users to the website which is really useful.

From what we know so far, the advertisements are going to provide by Facebook's native advertising system and would be aimed at helping users understand and use that ads system in businesses for more exposure or more sales using the messaging app just like the other platforms out there.

In Instagram also after the new Ads updates by the CEO Mark Zuckerberg, there is an ad on every third post if you've ever noticed which is happed after he became a CEO of an Instagram and we are thinking the same thing for the WhatsApp too he also wanted to monetize that platform as well.
